Fifth Year student Isabelle Alken was on the Irish Polocrosse team that won the 2017 European Polocrosse Tournament held in Doncaster in July.  Winning each of their five matches, the Irish team fought off stiff competition against teams from Italy, Britain, Norway, Germany, Finland and France.  

The Irish squad comprises selected players from various clubs around Ireland.  Isabelle also won two individual awards - Best Number 1 and Best Horse and Player combination.  Well done to the team and especially to Isabelle - this is a wonderful achievement.

In addition to this good news, Isabelle's sister Rachel became the Reserve All Ireland Championship in August.
