Over the long weekend, three St Andrew's College Sailing Teams competed in the Team Racing National Championships which was held at the Royal St George Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire.   Fourteen teams from all over Ireland competed in this competitive and fun event.  Due to light/no wind, the competition was cut short on the Sunday giving a sudden death result.  St Andrew's College Team 1 & 2 were awarded joint 3^rd place but on count back 4^th & 5^th places, and Team 3, 8^th place overall.  The sailors did the school and themselves proud showing amazing teamwork throughout the whole weekend.  They also enjoyed a formal team dinner at the RSGYC on Saturday evening, making new friends with other Team Racing competitors nationwide.  Our next event is the Elmo Cup which will be held 27/28 August at the RSGYC.  Please save the date!
