Congratulations to Elsie Bath (4MN) and Natasha Armah-Kwantreng (4DE) who were finalists in the Young Classicists Awards of 2022.   Elsie explains the project in the following piece.  

We created a project entitled “Gods and CEOs” for the Young Classicist’s Award last year.  The project, inspired by Reduced Inequalities, the 10^th UN Sustainable Development Goal, examines the parallels between the relationship linking gods and mortals in the classical world, and the relationship between the top 1% of wealthiest people and the general populace in the modern world. The aim was to highlight abuses of power by the wealthy.
