Boys' Hockey

A Day of Fine Margins

Congratulations to the Junior A Boys who won the Junior Cup in dramatic style. With the game tied against High School at 1-1 with three minutes to go, Greg Arrowsmith stepped up to roof a drag flick and secure the cup for St Andrew's College.

The Minor A Boys fought back from two goals down against Kings Hospital in their cup semi-final to force extra-time. Charlie Walker scored the all important goal to send the side through to next Wednesdays final. The goal also secured the sides passage through to the All-Irelands in Lisnagarvey HC after the Easter break.

The U-13s were inches away from winning the U-13 Cup. Having played out a 0-0 stalemate against Wesley the game went to strokes. With the scores tied 3-3 after the first five strokes it came down to sudden death with Wesley prevailing 5-4 in the end.

Well done to all the players and coaches on a great days hockey.
