BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition
SAC Junior School Entry
St Andrew's College Junior School had an entry at the Young Scientist Exhibition in the RDS on Saturday 13 January 2018. The topic was Animal Colouration and, as well as describing the importance of colour in the animal world, there were a couple of experiments in which the public could participate.
The Junior School entry attracted much interest from the viewing public and very favourable comments from the section judge. The pupils who took part were presented with a certificate as a memento of the day, and the Junior School were given a glass engraved plaque which may be viewed in the display cupboard in Junior Reception.
The Junior School students had a chance to look around and they visited the stands where the Senior School students were exhibiting their projects. Thanks are due to Dr Frewin, Ms Doheny, Ms Schutte and the parents who helped supervise the students on the day.
