The competition was organised by the History Department and the students could chose a historical photo or a historical place and write about them.

We are delighted to announce that:

• Alexander Silverman won First Prize; and
• Alisha Manoj won Second Prize.

Alexander wrote about the Temple of Artemis and Alisha wrote about a photograph of Martin Luther King making a speech. 

Both students showed great historical knowledge and excellent writing skills.
