P6 have worked hard to improve their poetry skills over the last two weeks.  

In lessons they have studied a number of literary devices (alliteration, personification, metaphor, simile, imagery, allusion, hyperbole and much more), looking at various sample texts.
This week they have combined their learning with the current SESE focus, to draft, re-draft, compose and perform poems that give a strong sense of location, using personal experience and quality vocabulary to deliver these poems.
