Glorney Cup comes to St Andrew's

Under 18s Four Nations Chess Tournament

In July First Year student Tom O'Gorman helped the Irish U18 team win the Glorney Cup over England.  This was the first time Ireland had won the Glorney Cup since 1963 and Tom is believed to be the youngest ever Glorney player.  Tom is pictured below (on the right) with Mr Fraser and Ross Beatty who played at the same Glorney Gilbert International Competition on the winning U14 Robinson Cup Team.
